Back in 2014, I was asked to make a Christmas e-card for a small company.
The project wasn't really planned. I was staying with friends over the holidays, and it turned out they knew someone in need of a holiday illustration.
This was an interesting challenge as I was without my usual equipment and had one day to finish the project.
Instead of the two monitor PC I had at home, I used a tiny 5-year-old netbook running Ubuntu. (When I say tiny, I mean adorably tiny. We're talking Amilo Mini). Thankfully, I packed my Intuos4, which works pretty well with MyPaint.
The client was very happy with the outcome.
It's more of a coloured sketch than a proper illustration, but, all things considered, I'm fairly happy with it myself :)
